The 5th season of The North Face Masters of Snowboarding presented by PrimaLoft®, the largest open, big mountain snowboarding competition in the country, kicks off January 19-22 in Snowbird, UT; February 14-17 in Crystal Mountain, WA; and March 1-4, 2012 in Kirkwood, CA with an overall prize purse that tops $50,000. The PrimaLoft® team will be on site at each stop to catch all the action. Athlete registration is December 14, 2011 at 10am.
Helly Hansen Big Mountain Battle

The 4th exciting season of Helly Hansen’s Big Mountain Battle is a team-based adventure ski race designed to take competitors to challenging and secluded parts of the mountain and experience the terrain at its finest. PrimaLoft® is the exclusive synthetic insulation used by Helly Hansen, and is the choice of mountain professionals at all Vail Resorts along the tour. Powered by a Flaik GPS system, teams of two check-in at locations designated by ski patrol, as the adrenaline junkies aim to be the first to conquer the mountain. The grand prize winners of each stop receive $2,000 in Helly Hansen gear, and a chance to compete in the finals at the ‘Battle in the Bowls’ at Aspen, CO.

PrimaLoft® is proud to sponsor the 16th annual Adirondack International Mountainfest, taking place January 13-15 2012, in Keene Valley, NY. Mountainfest is an annual celebration of ice climbing and mountaineering, featuring guest athletes telling their tales of climbing adventures, instructional clinics taught by visiting climbers and local guides, demo gear, and a chance to gather with the climbing community for an exciting winter weekend. Mountainfest 2012 boasts an excellent lineup of speakers, including Zoe Hart, Bayard Russell and Matt McCormick, and Emilie Drinkwater.
