Just bought my first Primaloft hooded jacket at MEC for hiking, skiing and anything outdoors. I wore it for the first time last weekend, hiking in Scotland and it was fantastic. I just bought both the Nano Puff and Micro Puff Patagonia jackets. I cannot believe for the weight how warm they are. I now look at all jacket labels and wouldn't want to buy anything that is not PrimaLoft. It is by far the best insulation per ounce that I have ever experienced.

I recently received an Russel Outdoors' APXG2 coat and pants insulated with Primaloft, for the 2009 hunting season. I can truthfully say this is the warmest hunting outfit I have ever owned. The Primaloft insulation is the best thing on the market today. I used this outfit in Kentucky on a cold, windy wet day, and it was great. I used it in the mountains of North Carolina on a 23˚ day with 20–30 mph winds, and it was great. I used it on numerous other days and I have not been the least bit uncomfortable due to the weather. I have come to the conclusion that I will only purchase clothing with Primaloft from now on. I do believe that Primaloft is the best available and it is light soft and packable which is great for traveling. I own some Primaloft socks and a pair of Primaloft gloves. Best socks I've ever worn.

I am a keen fisherman spending many hours/days outdoors all year round. I am forever searching for the best insulator. As I get older I feel the cold more and more. It's about time a specialist company designed warm winter clothing for us fishermen in the UK. We are a different breed of outdoorsmen whereby we spend long periods of inactivity whereas many other pursuits involve activity helping maintain warmth naturally.

I have been in the Army for 22 years and I have experienced virtually every climate that nature can challenge you with. Who would have thought that I would need an extreme cold weather jacket in Iraq? Thank goodness I have the ECWS Primaloft jacket. After using the "worlds best" equipment I was not only pleased with your product, I have become an advocate. Now I have comfort and a complete range of motion which are the two most important factors when deciding what to wear in an unforgiving environment. My soldiers are warm and they can still do their jobs.

It is the best insulation I have ever used. It is light weight, compresses, warm even when wet and is durable...doesn't leave cold spots after years of use. We use it in our sleeping bags, parkas, pants and vests. I also used it in Greenland.

PrimaLoft Insulation is exemplary. Even though it was crammed into a stuff sack to fit in the small kayak hole everyday, PrimaLoft held its loft very well, better than down would have, and vastly better than Lite Loft.

I first found PrimaLoft in a pair of Alpine Lowe gauntlet gloves. I took them to work in the Chicago area, as well as playing in Midwest winters. They were an Instant winner with me! There're very warm! Warmer than anything I have ever found while working the cold winter trades of Chicagoland!

The most remarkable feature of my bag is the efficiency of the PrimaLoft fill. We were able to sleep in below-zero temperatures with the tent flaps open. The bag was also less prone to picking up internal condensation, compares to the bags I have used in the past...

I was about to purchase the new fancy Thermarest, but I had tried a 1" one in a store and found it useless (I am now 50 and need a bit more for backpacking!). I always research reviews online, and while everyone was seemingly happy with the expensive Thermarest, one backpacker had posted that he loved his "Big Agnes" and that it was basically the same in pack weight and bulk, but that Big Agnes was a proven product with a history and built tough. I found it had a great history and wasn't about to be a "flash in the pan" AND AT HALF THE PRICE! My wife and I purchased 2 of your sleep pads for the same price of one of the Thermarests from Campmor our favorite hiking and backpacking vendor.

Sara Phelan of Wanderlust in Sackville, New Brunswick, first told me of the benefits of the Sierra Design's Chockstone jacket.
