Q: How does PrimaLoft® insulation fit into your overall clothing system on trips or expeditions?
A: PrimaLoft® is a HUGE piece to my clothing on my racing and expeditions.
Q: What do you appreciate the most about PrimaLoft® insulation?
A: PrimaLoft® is a product I can rely on when I'm competing in events with temps of 45 degrees or more to the cold climbs on Aconcagua or Mt. Baker.
Q: Do you have a favorite or go-to PrimaLoft® piece of gear? If so, what do you like the most about it?
A: I love the Redpoint jacket and pants that we make with your product. I wore them 24/7 while pulling my sled 430 miles in the Yukon arctic. I slept with the pants on, and they were warm and extremely comfortable.

A: PrimaLoft® is one of the best products on the market. I truly feel you have a no-fail product in all your garments and gear. Keep on doing what you all do best and that is keeping us warm and dry!!!!!!!! Thank you for being a part of my journeys and keeping all my fingers and toes in extreme conditions!

A: My go-to piece for almost everything winter related is The North Face Redpoint Optimus. Everyone knows that is hands down my all-time favorite TNF item, and I virtually live in it all winter.

A: Warmth to weight ratio, wicking ability, stays dry when wet and durability

A: Suffice it to say I virtually live in PrimaLoft® every winter and on every expedition I do. I guess you could say that I couldn't have climbed half the stuff I've done if it weren't for this amazing fabric. I have a closet literally full of old Redpoint jackets that are old and worn out, but I can't bear to part with. Every once in a while I hand one down to a friend in need.

A: I always have a PrimaLoft® insulation layer with me on expeditions and cold weather outings because it can get wet and still keep you warm.

A: It is lightweight and keeps you warm even when wet.

A: Zephyrus Pullover! It is super lightweight and comfortable. It is an essential layering piece for almost any cold weather outing.

Q: How does PrimaLoft® insulation fit into your overall clothing system on trips or expeditions?
A: It is usually the go-to layer that is either my outer layer on an uphill ski approach or worn just inside my shell on a ski descent. For my PrimaLoft® pants, these save us on cold winter camping trips as we wear them around camp all the time.

A: It dries quickly and keeps the body warm, regardless.

A: I use my jacket under a Gore-Tex jacket for warmth or independently.

A: Primaloft® is totally bombproof. In the Mercurial and Redpoint Optimus jackets, PrimaLoft® is the best insulation. I have the confidence to be battered by a storm and still have insulation.
